bondee!

Sits well in the hand.

This is exactly how a bondee can be described.
With its silky-soft, skin-like texture, a bondee yields slightly to pressure and is therefore particularly pleasant to the touch.
You could compare the feel to something between plasticine and a soft Flummi.

Once the bondee has hardened, the material remains flexible but can no longer be deformed.
Just give it a try! Our customers are always delighted with the unexpectedly good feeling in their hands!

    He thought it was great!

“When my son made a bondee for his dad as a present, he didn’t want to give it back. He thought it was great to hold his own hand. The bondee now also accompanies my son to sleep – and for the first time he seems to have found something that calms him down!”

    Holding grandma’s hand.

“My mother has been very ill for a long time. She keeps having to go to hospital, where she spends most of her time alone. I can’t visit her every day because of work, but we made bondees with all her grandchildren when we last visited Grandma. So now she always has her loved ones on the bedside table and we have her bondees with us.”

My husband’s handprint has been in my handbag for ages. Somewhere in the depths…and every time I’m looking for something, it falls into my hand. And that’s really nice – such an unexpected, in-between press!

    It makes me focus somehow.

“It’s amazing how something as small as the imprint of my own hand can make such a big difference to my mental state. I have one on my desk, and when I have a lot of studying to do, I reach for it every now and then. It kind of makes me focus….very cool.”

    It’s already really worn out.

“I’ve been in a long-distance relationship for 1.5 years. My boyfriend’s bondee is now my new shrine and I always have it with me! It’s really worn out, but somehow it’s also a nice sign of how much I miss him. I think I’ll have to make a new one on my next visit…;-)

  • My 99 year old mother.

    My 99 year old mother.

I made an impression with my 99 year old mother. The mass was not too sticky, I mixed it and kneaded it. She was a little tense and clenched her hands tightly. She ignored the fact that this wasn’t necessary, or rather her biography came through. She was used to gripping firmly .”

Your handprint: Always at hand for a small dose of strength.

A dear customer once called her bondee an “emotion regulator to go”. We really liked that and have not been able to describe it any better since.

Frequently asked questions about the handprint

How long do I have to mix the two components for the handprint?

Depending on the variant, you must knead the 2 components for either 2 minutes (basic variant) or 1 minute (quick variant).
Both components must be kneaded intensively and quickly until a streak-free, homogeneous mixture is produced. This can be recognized by the uniform color of coloured sets. For a white set, please knead for as long as indicated in the instructions for use.

What is the shelf life of the mixture in the jars?

The mass can be stored for approx. 6 months in unopened containers at a room temperature of 5-23 degrees. Longer is possible.

Can I use a spoon to remove both components?

At the slightest contact between the two components, there is a risk that they will harden in the jars. It is therefore advisable to use 2 separate spoons to remove the mixture. If you start kneading straight away, then of course 1 spoon is also fine!
